Standards-exceeding strength over extended lifetime

Frictape safety nets have a significantly longer life than traditional rope nettings. Based on extensive field testing in various conditions, the strength of the nettings is known to exceed the CAP437 requirements with a good margin even in the end of their estimated lifetime of 9-10 years.

Hammock effect with fully recovering structure

Frictape nets produce a hammock effect, completely absorbing the kinetic energy of falling objects or persons. This is vitally important for safety nets to work and also stated in the CAP437 requirements.

In contrast to zero-bounce, zero-deformation material and structure of Frictape nets, steel mesh structures always bring a risk of trampoline effect, and rope nettings will not fully recover after tension.

Custom made for exact fit

Frictape perimeter nets are always custom made according to measurements given by the operator. The nets do not require any extra frames, bindings or joiners.

The installation is done with simple braiding using the same material, without a need for any tools. The fail-safe assembly method and easy testing procedures ensure the functionality of the nets  over their entire lifetime.
